Happy Birthday Troy and Barbara!!

Today is my brother Troy's 30th birthday!!! I can't believe my "big little brother" (he's been taller than me for at least 15 years now) is 30!!! I feel like I'm getting old!! It's also Barbara's (Adam's other mom) birthday, too. She's 39 and holding. I hope you both had a great birthday!!

My boys...

I know I haven't posted pictures from the aquarium yet, but I want to share these pictures we took earlier this month of the boys. I had them all dressed alike (which I tend to do, especially on Sunday) and we snapped some pictures of them and us. Here's my four favorite guys...

Adam also took some of me with the boys, though they didn't turn out as well.

Our Spring Break Adventures!!

This week is Spring Break for the boys and we have been enjoying it!! On Monday, they spent part of the day with Adam and also went fishing with Ninny. John-William caught 3 fish and Jackson helped Ninny reel hers in before he finally caught his own. Tuesday, we went to Chattanooga. We had 10 people all together -- us, Amber and Grady and Tommy, Tina and Trent. I'll do a separate post with pictures from Rock City and the Aquarium. Amber took home 5 little boys with her that night. They had a good time jumping on Grady's trampoline and then they spent the night. Wednesday, they went to the museum (natural history) and to have lunch and play at the park. Thursday, the boys spent the morning and early part of the afternoon with me and then went to Grandma and Grandpa's. All 3 of them spent the night, believe it or not! They'd never stayed overnight with Grandma and Grandpa before, but they were all looking forward to it and had a great time. They had pizza, ice cream and cookies last night and waffles with ice cream and cool whip this morning!!! Grandpa took them down to his shop and they got to do "man things" with him for a while this morning. This afternoon they've been playing outside and just enjoying themselves at home. We don't have much planned for this weekend, just mainly staying around the house and spending time together. So far, it's been a wonderful Spring Break!

Rock City

On Tuesday we visited Rock City and I have lots of pictures. I may have to do a separate post to be able to show all of them, but I'll do as many as necessary. Some of these pictures are really good (in my opinion) and some are okay. Remember, we had 5 little boys with us! It's hard to get all of them to cooperate at one time.

Here are the boys as we are getting started at Rock City.

We entered the Needle's Eye and took some cute pictures. However, Grady didn't stay in the picture for long, he was too busy climibing on the rocks.

Here's our group going over the Gnome's Overpass. Everyone had to stop and look down to see what was below.

We also went through Fat Man Squeeze and got some good pictures there, as well.

More Rock City

You can't forget the waterfall that comes off the side of the mountain and can be seen from the highway.

Here's Amber and all the boys standing across the way from us in front of the waterfall.

Adam and Tommy "observing" at Observation Point:

We also went across the swinging bridge. Adam had a lot of fun jumpin on the bridge and making it shake for everyone else trying to walk across, including the people in front of us! Michael didn't want to go across by himself, so he held on to Tommy for support. Tina didn't like the fact that Adam turned around and came back to "help" her across!!

Continuing Rock City

We all enjoyed looking out over Chattanooga/Look Out Mountain and seeing 7 states. You can see Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, North and South Carolina. The boys really liked looking out over such a vast area. There were telescopic viewers there, but Amber and Grady made their own.

We also went through the Undercliff Passage, which led to the waterfall we saw earlier in the pictures with the boys.

The rainbow is missing from Rainbow Hall!! There used to be colored windows lining this passage way but they weren't there this trip. Instead of a colorful walk, here's what we saw:

The last part of Rock City is the Fairyland Caverns and Mother Goose Village. My camera doesn't work well without a lot of light, so there are minimal pictures from this part of the park.
