Snow, anyone??

Okay, now that spring is here and everything is blooming, I'll post some pictures of snow!! I never have posted the rest of the pictures from our ski trip. What I posted before were the pictures from our digital camera. We also had disposable cameras that we took on the slopes with us. I just had to remember to drop them off to be developed. So, here you go. Have a look at the fun we had. And, for those who may not believe us, here's proof that we skied!!

Here's a picture of one of us on one of the ski lifts and one of the lifts beneath. As always, I try to take a picture of us together, that we take of ourselves, wherever we go. Some turn out better than others. Considering the fact that we were riding up a ski lift in the snow, this one isn't too bad!

Unfortunately, being amateur skiers, we (I) spent more time lying in the snow than desired!! I ended up like this more times than I care to admit! I did get one quick snap of Adam as he was getting up out of the snow. He didn't fall nearly as many times as I did, though.

We managed to time our trip during a major snow storm that dumped over 6 feet of snow in just a few days!! A lot of that fell while we were skiing. Look at the snow in my hair and Adam's mustache.

One of the most amazing parts of our trip was the beautiful scenery. This is just a taste of what we saw and these photos don't come close to doing it justice! The small picture in the middle is actually the tops of trees. They look like saplings, but the trees are probably about 15' tall, just hidden under the snow!!

Adam and me skiing. Believe it or not, that blue spot right up under the trees is my jacket.

Spring is here!!

I find it very hard to believe that Spring is officially here and it's almost Easter!!! Yes, the weather has been spring-like for a few weeks now, but Spring arrived 11 days ago and next Sunday is Easter. That's hard to believe!!! Along with Spring comes lots of beautiful flowers. Looking down our street last week, I saw the Bradford Pears in bloom...

In our own front yard, we have pansies still blooming nicely and azaleas.
