Look what we did yesterday!

I hate to admit that I'm two months behind on getting my flower bed planted, but we finally did it yesterday. The boys and I worked outside for about 4 hours yesterday afternoon. We pulled up the pansies that were still there (along with the weeds that were growing with them), prepped the soil with weed preventer, lime and organic humus and then mixed it all together and planted about 100 vinca and geraniums. The geraniums are already a good size and are blooming well, but the vinca is just now getting a few blooms. It shouldn't take long, though, for it to take off and for the whole flower bed to be in full bloom of red, pink and white. Here are a few pics.

Happy Father's Day!!!

I just wanted to say a Happy Father's Day to all the dads I know. We had a good day yesterday -- lunch after church and then we gave my dad his gift card. Then we spent the afternoon at home relaxing before church again last night. Adam didn't actually get a gift because he's picking out a new golf club and I can't do that for him. I do actually have one more thing from the boys and me and unfortunately, it wasn't ready on time. Maybe it will be ready by the end of this week. We also celebrated with Adam's dad on Saturday afternoon and had a good time there. So, Happy Father's Day to everyone!!

Last week, we had Trent and Grady over to spend the night with us. yes, we came home with 5 little boys!! Well, they all camped out in the playroom floor that night and believe it or not, they all went to sleep. Grady and Michael were tucked in about 10 pm and Trent, John-William and Jackson stayed up later. Much later! They had an Xbox tournament with Adam until 1:30 am!! But, here's a cute pic I took of them before I put Grady and Michael into bed. I'll post more later.
